Why the Moon is Connected with Mind in Astrology.

In Astrology it is said the Moon governs the Mind of the person.

We see the Moon in the sky as a round figure of face and no limbs or other parts of the body. But it is moving. In astrology the Moon is the fastest moving planet. It does not have legs or other aids.

Our Mind is also like it. The mind does not have even a face but to personify we draw a heart. But its movement is faster than our physical movement.

Just like the Moon, our mind jumps from one to the other very quickly.

I think because of this the Mind is connected with the Moon.

எமது மனமும் எந்த விதமான பௌதிக வடிவில் இல்லாதது. ஆனால் காட்டப்பட வேண்டும் என்பதற்காக இதயத்தை வரைந்து காட்டுகிறார்கள். (விஞ்ஞான ரீதியில் மனம் என்பது இதயத்தில் இல்லை). எமது உடல் அசைவின் வேகத்தை விட மனதின் வேகம் மிக அதிகமானது. குறுகிய நேரத்துள் அது ஒன்றிலிருந்து மற்றொன்றிற்குத் தாவிவிடுகிறது. உடல் அசைவு அதற்கு ஈடு கொடுக்க முடியாததையும் நாம் அனுபவ ரீதியாகக் காண முடியும்.
